The ending was really abrupt, but besides that it looks fantastic. It is amazing they still managed to make this game look better then Uncharted 2. I don't even have to talk about the gameplay, because they have already proved they mastered this genre. I cannot wait for this to come out.

maaan that looks so good! since my graphics card died and i won't be playing skyrim for a while, i think this'll be my november purchase. multiplayer'll keep me busy for a while too.

If I had the money to spend I would be at the store right now grabbing a ps3 in order to play this game, only thing slightly not perfect about it looks to be the enemy hit animations, shoot a guy and he doesn't react at all really. That seems to be something the series has always had though, and you don't really come to the uncharted games for that sorta thing as much as you come to them for the other stuff.

EDIT: if the game focused a bit on adding hit reactions, and did some stuff similar to what you can see in RAGE, or the euphoria stuff in Rockstar games, I'd have to take out a loan and get a ps3 today :) Until I see that though, I'll have to wait to afford one.

That shootout made me think that Drake was just pretending to be dehydrated.

Weird, in the beginning Drake can hardly run, but all of a sudden he can survive a 20 on 1 gunfight? Aw whatever, those sand physics are breathtaking.

Dude, right? Game would be so much better if he never made even the slightest, most basic human mistake and acted like a total cool badass all the time. I need something new... like that... derp...

EDIT: i swear i saw him give someone a titty twister in the hand to hand sequence.

I'm late to the Uncharted series (about halfway through the first) but I'm really enjoying it. I already have 2 in the queue and 3 will soon follow.

I know right? They addressed Drake's mass murdering ways a bit in Uncharted 2 (I believe one of the villains asked him how many people he had killed that day), so I know they're aware of it. I LOVE these games, but I find myself having to suspend belief (in terms of character and story, I know it's a video game people) more with each iteration.

Holy damn! That game looks amazing. I didn't think this console generation would produce such amazing visuals. The few times I've been blown away by console visuals was probably the first time I saw Mario 64, and Uncharted 2 and 3.

K.  So.  It seems to me, here, that showing a section of gameplay that includes a part where Drake appears to be locked into a fist fight while being shot in the back by surrounding enemies is somewhat counterproductive to the goal of selling the game.

In Uncharted 1 and 2 you would die almost instantly if you did that. It was fucking annoying, no game that is attempting to be fast paced and "non-realistic" should let you die in such moments from other attackers.

I really should stop watching these and spoiling it for myself. I didn't get a PS3 until last year and so the hype of Uncharted 2 went over me when it first came out and I thought that game was amazing and deserved all the praise.

This is so damn slick that I'm starting to think the reason it looks this smooth is because of a TV they use.

Framerate on the vid looked amazing. Don't even remember Uncharted 2 looking like that.

Looks fucking amazing, the frame rate was buttery smooth and the sand and his animations were best of the best. Can't wait for this game to come out.

A fix for that would be to have the melee fighting be less cinematic and more tactile actiony, letting you roll away as needed if you are taking gunfire in the posterior. This is one of the areas where Uncharted's heavy emphasis on lengthy animations hampers gameplay. Making Drake a bullet sponge during fisticuffs is not a proper fix for that problem.

A fix would be don't fist fight when you are surrounded by enemy's. The melee in Uncharted was used for the enemy, or a good knee to the face once you got up close.

And i'm sure whoever was playing this was doing it on easy, I doubt he'll be such a sponge on the higher difficulties.

60fps test, huh? Does this mean gameplay videos (including QLs, hopefully) in the future are all gonna be 60Hz?

edit: Unless it's just for trailers of games that run at 60. Still cool, though.
