Overview
The Ghost Recon games are a series of first and third-person shooters following the exploits of an elite special-operations team called the "Ghosts" as they battle groups and corrupt governments intent on disturbing world peace. The series is regarded for its slow, highly tactical gameplay on wide-open areas and portrayal of real-life experimental military technology.
The first few games in the series had the player command multiple squads of soldiers. As the series progressed, the succeeding games followed the character of Captain Scott Mitchell leading a 4-man Ghost squad through various hotspots across the globe.
