Yeah, he's expecting a kid and isn't exactly looking to put in the crazy work amount of he did to build the new site when he wants to actually be a father. Having another talented guy helping build and run things is always great, too. I also hope he's a pretty cool guy himself as well.

I wasn't even aware Dave was married. Could you slow things down a bit for me? In regards to the job, I'll be right there.

Doesn't have a name yet. It's not going to be large popularity wise, just the feature set is. Essentially, it's a network of social sites for people living in municipalities. Each site is the online hub for a certain municipality. It's a local government contract.

Man Alexis, if I wasn't sorely needed at the dev studio I'm at, I would be soooooooo down to apply. I'm confident I'd be able to fill the role, but I can't leave these guys. We're as tight knit as you guys at GB. If only you guys needed this position filled mid last year. :(

my html/css/photoshop is up to par but i cant be bothered with javascript or other programming languages.. coding is so boring to me. Give me Photoshop all day long and i'd be a happy camper.

I'd kill to see what this job pays, given the market and war for talent. Good designers who also know closures, mixins (and why Less sucks), git-flow branching strats, compiled template namespacing techniques, etc etc are hard to come by, to say the least.

I once created a Final Fantasy character bio page with a Doom midi on loop for a middle school computer sciences project... And later that week I created an outline of a guy with a flat top and cool shades giving a thumbs up in C++. Also, in high school I farted out tons of images that were vignetted on top of other sepia toned images for a photography class and got all A's because high school art teachers don't understand technology. One time I almost actually completed Vampire Rain. So you KNOW I'm tough enough. You know where to find me.

I can bust out greasemonkey/tampermonkey and tweak pages to my liking, but that's as far as I've gotten since I took that one early HTML class in highschool back before the internet was worth getting onto to browse.

I almost had a heartattack cause I somehow missread and thought that Dave left GB. Man, those were awful 3 seconds.
