So fucking awesome.

This might get me back into the series.

Driving jeeps out of planes, blowing up buildings, dogfights in fighter jets, realistic regular dogs, trains smashing into each other, Stevie Wonder.

So much to take in. But it looks awesome. I already love Michael. Getting a real Tony Soprano vibe from him.

I have only watched the 1st episode of the Sopranos, but is anyone getting a sopranos vibe from the older guy?

Got the exact same feeling. Even his house seemed similar to the one in Soparanos.

Nice! I fucking hated Niko and the fact that he never put a bullet in Roman's face. Just like Claude did with Maria.

But anyone else notice how nice this shit looks? Like super clean, wondering how fucked up the PS3 version will be considering the resolution concessions they have had to make with GTA4 and Red Dead.

This trailer actual looks in engine, where as the last one looked like it was running on a high end pc. The characters look pretty interesting. Now watching it again...

Looks awesome, I approve of the increased level of insanity (jets, parachuting out of a truck mid free-fall, bad boys 2 esque boat on freeway chase.)

If thats all in engine this game is looking fucking gorgous, apart from the lack of AA looking pretty sharp.

I loved GTA IV and this looks even better. It will be hard keeping my hype level to a minimum.

Fuck Yes, Rockstar look to be on their game, looks like a blast and the humor was genuinely funny.

I'm still a bit disappointed that they're playing it safe with the location and character archetypes, but it's still looking really good, so I'm excited to see what they do with it.

I didn't hate GTA IV was much as most seem to though.

I remember those double railroad tracks next to the gym, where the gangs would always fight. And the port bridge to the army base (based on the one Tony Scott jumped off).

Thats what I love about the Rockstar games, the dark humor has been so good that no other games get right.

Really interested in the late 40s Dad, looks like there is a mission saving your son off a stolen boat on the motorway. This is what GTA was lacking in 4 (even though I loved that game).

How does one sell that which is already sold, and I'm it. Sold, that is.

You should read the game informer scans then.

Because they are definitely intertwining story lines. The characters will be switchable during free play and during certain heist missions. But there's a whole string of Trevor only missions, Franklin only missions and Michael only missions.

EDIT: Man...I really hope they do a Max Payne 3 and not a Red Dead with this game, I really want to play it.

As someone who really disliked GTA IV I am super excited after this trailer. I really really want to be playing this game right now.

That last shot is great, See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil.

I am so fucking down for this. I'll probably be buying four copies. Two for myself on 360 and PC and two for my brother on 360 and PC. Day one. Oh man oh man oh man.

After complaining about sequels all year I am just going to have to take the hypocrites way out on this one.....can't wait!

Okay, I didn't like GTAIV all that much, but this looks like it solves all my issues with it. Making all the protagonists "clichéd" might actually work in its favor if they play up the humor well enough.

Haha, eah, they've said before that continuity in GTA is a little wonky.

The only things that carry over are brands. Things like cars, stores, stuff you her about on the radio, etc. And of course Lazlow :P

It's a different era not su much a different world, the cities didn't change names nor did the brands (car brands, restaurant chains, stores) but they did showed a lot of nods to the characters of the previous games in graffiti and stuff.

Really hope the PC version hits the same day as consoles.
