Ever the opportunistic retailer, GameStop will be running numerous trade-up offers for those who want to cash-in their old Xbox 360s towards one of Microsoft's new sleeker, shinier, smaller, and quieter 360s.
Games Are Evil recently acquired an alleged internal company list of peripheral and hardware trade-in values, dated for the June 15, which should be valid at your local store if you choose to hop on the 360 slim bandwagon--and use your old hotness as part of the payment.

- All -- $100
HDDs
- 20 GB HDD -- $30
- 60 GB HDD -- $35
- 120 GB HDD -- $40
- 250 GB HDD -- $50

- 256 MB Memory Card -- $14

As noted by Donny M at Microsoft's E3 media briefing, these built-in Wi-Fi and 250GB HDD-equipped 360s are already being shipped to retail stores. As a result, Games Are Evil's GameStop source says reserves are limited to just the first shipment. Also, the source believes there might be a supply problems. To be frank, this seems a little like second-hand speculation, so do check in with your local shop to see what's up.
UPDATE: GB user Bman3737 spoke to a dude at his local GameStop about this deal. The console trade-in will require one controller and all the cables. And according to him, this promotion kicks off today (June 17) and runs through July 11.
