No More Heroes wasn't a perfect game. It was rough around the edges. It was beautiful in some spots, an absolute mess in others. For me, that was part of its charm. The game's shortcomings almost seemed deliberate.
Of course, for a lot of people, all of that stuff was completely infuriating and made the game pretty much unplayable. But there's a new trailer out for the upcoming sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. So it's time to ask yourself: Are you willing to give Suda's weird world of fake lightsabers and assassins another chance?
I'd argue that the trailer makes a pretty compelling argument in favor of playing the final product when it's finally released.
Where's the argument, you ask? Well, featuring a real human dressed up like a wrestler makes a pretty firm case. The guy that throws his woman at Travis Touchdown like they were patio furniture certainly has a thing or two to say, as well. And I can't immediately think of another game that features the word "preggers." All in all, the whole thing just looks weird in a way that I can't help but get behind.
Ubisoft is expected to announce plans to publish NMH2 stateside at E3 next week.
