Jeff On Spike TV Tonight

GameTrailers TV gets a healthy dose of Giant Bomb as Jeff and Geoff discuss the most anticipated games of 2010.

Hey, quick reminder for all of you television owners out there. I'll be on GameTrailers TV tonight. It airs on Spike TV at 12:30AM, though with cable being cable, you should check your local listings. With my DirecTV dish, I get the east coast feed of Spike, so I'll get the show at 9:30.

I'll be discussing the "Most Anticipated Games of 2010" with the show's host, Geoff Keighley. Admittedly, the games I brought to the table are probably the most common picks in the world for this category, but then, I tend to favor games that I know next to nothing about or games that are coming out so soon that I can practically taste them.

I don't want to get too much into the segment before it airs, since I don't want to spoil it. But I'll certainly have more to say on the topic tomorrow, so come back to the site for that. Here's a promo for the show, but I should warn you... I'm not actually in the promo.

@Willy105: Yeah but all the good shows stream for free on a million different sites.... hardly justifys the expense of cable. The shear amount of ads they put in make actually paying for cable a joke.

You ain't missing much, Spike nowadays mostly airs CSI reruns. Nothing interesting in there at all.

Oh wait, its in Spike? I do get that with regular cable =P And I agree, I stopped watching it because every time I flip to it before 11pm its CSI, and any time after 11pm its Extenze penis pills infomercials. Blah.

@crusnchill: I am not totally sure since I dont watch the show, but I think they put the videos up on their own site after the show has aired.. I believe. Otherwise I am confidant itl show up here tomorrow, keep your eyes on the forums =p

Giant Bomb can't just take a TV show owned by another network and stream it for free on their site.

The show will probably go up on Spike.com tomorrow but I'm not sure people in UK can even access the videos on the site.

Haha yes there is UFC as well, though I am not a 'fan'. I like UFC and its awesome watching that dude with the penis sword on his chest get punched in the face. (I know his name, but this way is better.) I just don't have time to watch tv in any sort of schedule these days.

Jeff, if it plays at 0:30 on the west coast, it'll be at 3:30 on the east coast, not 9:30.

Jeff is saying that when it is 9:30 on the west coast, it'll be 12:30 on the east coast, so he can watch the east coast feed at 9:30.

All he really said was that he's excited for Super Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat 9, and that he thinks the new Zelda Wii game needs to change up the formula.

Nah, we all know Gertzmann is Jeff's evil twin from a parallel universe. He would have a goatee to signify it, but the twin still shares Jeff's follicle-less face at a DNA level. He's actually the one who reviewed Kane and Lynch for Gamespot.

Surely the problem with trying to do a show aboput 'most anticipated for 2010' is the lack of any real information about games intended for release toward the end of the year?
Seems like a stupid idea for a show to me.

Not shocked at your choices Jeff, I was really happy that Garnett pushed Heavy Rain, the game I am very excited about thats not as big God of War 3 or Red Dead Redemption.

Secondly I am in total agreement on Zelda. The formula needs to change and though it being an "industry changer" is a tall order, your right that if anyone can do it, it's Nintendo and Miyamoto. For only a couple minutes of air time, you made some good points Jeff.
