Electronic Arts confirmed today that Madden NFL 10 will be in stores on August 14 this year, sticking with the month that has done so well for it for so long. The announcement also comes with some thematic terms being used to describe the vibe (and, probably, the focus) of this year's game. This year, EA is presenting "Fight For Every Yard" as its slogan. It's no "run-stuffing gang tackles," but it'll have to do, I guess.
EA also announced that it will be producing a live show that will stream online during the NFL draft on April 25. The show will contain draft analysis and call-ins, the box art for the game will be released, and as the college players are drafted up to to the pros, EA will unveil those players' ratings.Â
That all sounds like a pretty cool, free bit of entertainment for fans of the game... it definitely goes above and beyond what EA has done to release that information in past years.
EA has also launched the game's official site, which, as you might expect, has more information on this subject. Go Royals!
