Looking for some hot summer deals? The folks at Valve sure hope you are, and are happy to provide an outlet for your desire to save. Starting today, Steam launches its "Perils of Summer" sale event, though apparently, the only peril is that you have too much money in your wallet.
Over the next 10 days, Valve will be doing discounts on individual games and collections of software from throughout the catalog. New sales will cycle in every day, further instilling you with that nagging question, "Have I seen what Steam is selling today?"
It's a pretty good group of sales, even on this first day. I picked up the entirety of the Introversion catalog can for $5.00. I would have paid $5.00 just for DEFCON: Everybody Dies! Getting Darwinia as well was icing on the money-spending cake.
Have you guys purchased anything from the Steam sale today? And what games would you purchase for the right price?
