Penny Arcade to Fatal1ty: Suck It

I don't have any beef against this guy.  I remember seeing him on MTV Real Life: Pro Gamer or whatever it was called. 

I bet he still goes to the event, or tries to at least.

For those asking about if there is something deeper--I think its just a spoof on the E For All Expo press release. Not to say that there isnt something more to this...but looks like a spoof to me.

I feel like Fatal1ty is the younger generations' Billy Mitchell.  They're both pretty douchey.  I would imagine in 20 years, Fatal1ty will be sporting a high-top fade and reminding everyone how he used to "totally pwn" at Quake.  Seroiusly...dude...

My respect for Penny Arcade has increased tenfold.

I just gained some respect for PA.

I don't think it is even fair to call him a gamer anymore when he hasn't competed in an honest video game tournament since 2006 when he competed in Quake 4. He really is great to watch in the context of a tournament, but his "shoutcasting" abilities (play by play for CGS) leaves a lot to be desired. I hope he starts competing again..

Pretty funny that this comes the same day that it was announced that Fatal1ty will be the "face" of E for All.

The only people more full of themselves than Fatal1ty are the Penny Arcade guys. What's being shown at PAX this year? Lame comics and more of their shovelware video game series? I'll pass.

I know nothing about this "Fatal1ty" guy, but I love PA, and this is hilarious. They make a press release annoncing that they don't want the guy at PAX.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this guy. 

Now that I've read his suspiciously-worded Wiki, this is also the first time I've ever heard of our hobby described as a "sport."  I once got in an argument with an acquaintance of mine over whether or not golf or pool were sports.  I would never have dared add video games to that list.

Just because you think someone is cool doesn't mean you can't find them to be a douche-bag five years later. Fata1ity was intriguing at one point until he sold out like a brand-name prostitute.

Good for Penny Arcade. Fata1ity is just a corporate hack that does nothing but dumbs games down. If he had his way everything involving video games would have his name on it, and there would never be a storyline in a game again. Screw him.

I find the PA comics to be a little too smug for my liking but I love that they won't let this "Pro Gamer" into the event. The guy's a douche and gaming isn't a fucking sport.
