Sledgehammer Games Working On Call of Duty "Action-Adventure"

Oh god, this is so confusing.  
 
My mind won't even process this madness, so I'll have to wait and see.

The only reason CoD was a great franchise was because of Infinity Ward (although I did think MW2 was horrible).
 
My demand for FPS's is very elastic, don't expect me to ever buy anything from you again activision. I tried treyarch and they were terrible, you really don't have the authority over us customers to be complete jackasses.

Couldn't possibly even care less for the upcomming COD games. The COD franchise was burried a long time ago already. As far as im concerned COD4 is still the best game they made, doubt that they will make something better in any way.

Activision can suck my left nut. Fuck Activision. They've ruined every series they bought rights to.

Mr. Schofield looks somewhat disgusted at these events himself. So would I if I had to make an action adventure Call of Duty game

So first they run Tony Hawk games into the ground, then Guitar Hero games get the same treatment. I've got a hunch that Call of Duty is next up on the grave digging list, then what? Blizzard?! Also I bet this  "extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre" is of the MMO, Pay by month  variety  ala WoW. 

The only good outcome of this is if all the talent at Infinity Ward creates a new studio and makes a Sci-Fi FPS, which will make me one happy boy.

Now we all know why they did that stupid third person Multiplayer in MW2.

Well, here it is. The first most public Activision maneuvers that're going to lead to the death of the once great COD franchise.
 
I know he's a businessman and this's the sort of thing that's made him incredibly rich, but damn it Kotick! You are scum!

I think i can see why they got fired for insubordination..

So they've seen the trailers for Spec Ops : The Line and have decided to do a CoD game in the same vein.  Activision are talentless hacks.  I hope all of their IPs up and leave them.  It would be better if Blizzard took them over.

Big surprise since Infinity Ward is all but gone now. Activision's new low buget lackeys will be taking over the CoD franchise.

Action adventure? Oh geez...

  This is all the replacements for Infinity Ward could come up with.

I thought that post earlier was just a stunt. Seriously, this is fucked up. Call of Duty has truly gone down the drain with this move.

So, the Blizzard Entertainment part could mean subscription fees or micro-transactions...  It could also mean an action adventure CoD MMO developed by Sledgehammer...
