Know what? That's fine. Between Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age, and GTA V (not to mention that ever-increasing backlog of mine), I'll have plenty to entertain.
I've already hit a point with this generation where I'm going back to 'earlier'* games that I would usually have completely missed out on. In one respect, that's good, as I get to play them, but proves from my pov that this has been a sloooow start. Fuck, I might even be dusting off the 360 and buying Stick of Truth very soon.
*As early as you can get at the still early stages of a console generation.
my god 2015 is the most stacked year of all time..... February next year is going to be like a normal October.
I still have Diablo 3, Destiny, Driveclub, Shadow of Mordor, AC Unity, Farcry 4, CoD Advanced Warfare, and Dragon Age inquisition to look forward too... so i don't think people should discount this years offerings as much as they do. Next year though, next year appears to be insanely packed with awesome games.
They fired an employee over the Donald Sterling thing just for saying it was wrong to use an illegally-recorded private conversation against him in a supposedly free country.
I refuse to support Evolve or any other game they ever develop.
Frankly, if my employee was stupid enough to post this and think that there's such a thing as an "illegally-recorded private conversation" (spoilers: it's completely legal to record someone without their knowledge, it just cannot be used as evidence in court, which is irrelevant because you can't be arrested for being a racist), I'd fire him too for being a complete idiot. He probably also thinks his "free speech was infringed upon" for being fired, too.

Makes sense actually. (A) Evolve isn't going up against the titans of CoD, FarCry and Halo. And (B) TakeTwo gets to pad out it's first quarter if the game sells well.
Can't say I'm surprised at all. Games have been getting delayed like crazy this year. Even with a delay it doesn't mean the game will get better., Watchdogs is a prime example.
Oh well, now I guess I'll have to settle for Far Cry, Dragon Age, WWE 2k15, Madden/Sports, Shadow of Mordor, Halo Remakes, Destiny, Super Smash Bros, Assassin's Creed Unity, Alien, Civilization: Beyond Earth, Advanced Warfare, The Evil Within, Sunset Overdrive, and a huge number of Digital games.
People saying that there are no games this year are crazy people.
I find your lack of Guilty Gear XRD ...... disturbing >:3
@dberg: Turtle Rock (the game's developer) was at one point owned by Valve when they co-developed the first Left 4 Dead. They then pulled a Bungie and returned toindependence to make Evolve.
@kippers: Seems like a normal start as far as I can recall. Usually takes at least two years before we start seeing regular quality releases on a new system. Especially since the dawn of 3D games and their increased development requirements.
I wonder if the whole delayed game is better than a bad game is actually for the better thinking aback on recent history WatchDogs was delayed multiple times and the outcome of that was it was a "alright game" just simply didn't live up to all the hype it had ,then we have Hardline which was pretty much EA and Dice noticing their new shit was to similar to BF4 and not enough content to warrant a 60$ price, though games like Titianfall could of used this "whole delaying to polish and make it better" because that game was seriously lacking a lot of stuff.
From what i seen of Evolve looks great was only worried on how many monsters would be in the full game and if the classes differentiated enough to make trying them all out fun and if it had a lot of game modes to keep the game fun for the coming months.
Wither this is actually for that or just because there's so much coming out and they just wanna space out their releases who knows.
With all that said Games are still coming out and the List is not small.
Also so much Hype for 2015 it's scary having that much coming out in Q1
In fairness... as much as all these delays suck... my wallet thanks each and every one of them. Spacing these releases out more throughout the year is in a lot of ways, a financial gift.
I was in the alpha and the NDA prevents me from going into detail but as someone who is still looking forward to the game, I think working on it a while longer is a good idea.
I played the recent Alpha and it was fun. I had some worries though. I do not know how much fun this game will be for more than a few hours. Even if they added more monsters than the 2 announced, more humans, etc. I guess they will have more game modes and such so its to early to tell. It has huge potential.
I thought this was a Valve game. ...why did I think this was a Valve game? I'm confused.
Maybe because Evolve is made by Turtle Rock (the guys and gals behind Left 4 Dead)? Every time I've played it, it still reminds me a lot of Left 4 Dead, in a good way, so I can see why you thought that.
