Thursday Night Throwdown 5/27: Blur

Bleh, now penny arcade hates Blur and is ashamed it ever recommended it. Tycho is so nonsensically finicky.

Agreed! I also wish they would upload the videos to Giant Bomb itself. Who knows how long these will last on UStream. It feels kind of risky, like when sites place YouTube videos in their news stories and then they get removed. "

I was just trying to point out that very few people have picked up Blur since they had only two and half days to pick it up. Through listening to the Bombcast you guys said you have had not had a chance to play RDR multi player, maybe you know now but let me tell you that you can create private lobbies and invite 15 other players and mess around in the entire game or play certain mulit player game types. Maybe it would have been better to wait a week and play Blur when more people have a copy. Anyways it was a great TNT and have a great weekend! "

I like how I made it into every round. Literally every round. Fantastic really. 
 
Thing was, last week my 360 red ringed, so I took it to a dude what repairs them. Only got it back 30 minutes before TNT, so didn't have time to get any fans so went in with only the basic cars. Still, loads of fun. Most enjoyable bits were where I passed or just barely beat Ryan.

Had an absolute blast and did pretty well if I do say so myself.

Thanks for the races guys! It was worth it to wreck Ryan once and have him literally scream out "DAMN YOU THE NICK ROSS" on air. Priceless. 
 
Fun game. Hard as hell though.

Had a blast playing, got a couple wins and even had a little back-and-forth battle with Ryan.  Such a fun game to play, now hopefully they will do a RDR TNT sometime soon.

Goddamn it I tried my very best to connect for the PS3 races but I kept getting an 'unable to connect' error. Can't believe there was such a low turn out.....

Gotta be honest...wasn't such a fantastic TNT. Blur really isn't as fun to watch as I was expecting =(.

Thanks again for the races, Ryan! That was quite some fun. I paused the video each time a race started to help out my bandwidth, but hopefully nobody was irritated with my cheap shots early in the races!

Would of prefed switching to Modnation after the first hour of Blur, thats where all the PS3 players were. 2 hours of Blur got a little repetitive, but was still funny commentary as usual.

Great games. Glad to get a few good shots on the nachoboss!  TNT!!!!

First time I watched all two hours. Super tired now.

Yet again TNT rocks! Game looks cool but I'm really liking the PC Split/Second Demo so far. Maybe that's more my sort of game.

Good to see that Kessler is reigning it in a little bit.  I find his voice insufferable--it sounds like he's trying too hard with everything he says.
