I think it's real! If it's fake, that's a very good actor. I couldn't freak out like that on demand, that's for sure.

Well, even if it was real (which i heartily doubt), it would take less than 5 minutes to reactivate the account and all of his characters and their stuff would still be there...so no loss really.

im surprised how many people are so quick to assume this video is fake.  this is so over the top that its almost certainly real.  also the spontaneous and nervous laughter of his brother getting away with secretly planting the video camera upon retrieving it suggests none of this is staged.  the guy might simply be deranged (there are lots of deranged people in this world).........or just a teenager addicted to WOW throwing an uber tantrum and ramming a remote up himself

I remember going through that when I left WoW. It's all quite scientific, and there's reasons for everything he did. When you're playing, Blizzard silently injects the 'WoW virus' into your retinals through your monitor. It has a sensor on it that picks up the sudden despair in your system when your WoW account gets cancelled - then, it releases some highly concentrated glucose strains into your blood system causing blindness, will to beat up a soft blanket, fever (he had to take his clothes off), hightened heart rate, immense body spasms, turrets syndrom and a deadly ich inside the rectum.

This all usually lasts about two minutes before the addict figures out that there's more to the world - nothing as good as WoW, but there's something somewhere. It's all very common, I can't say that I shoved a remote up my rear or stripped to my underwear or had a tantrum - but it's completely normal.

I don't care if it was real or not. I was laughing my ass off.

Staged, most likely with spots of ad-libbing. I agree it should be the warcraft/dew commerical now. What they probably aren't telling you is that the upset kid was probably just spending his whole day with the avatar dancing on a mailbox constantly chatting with his friends while buying gold from China.

yea, it has to be fake, but how do you manage to slam your body into a matress, go under a blanket and come out in boxers, randomly go in and out of your closet, stick a remote up your butt, hit yourself in the head with a shoe, and scream like a raptor for 2 minutes without laughing once.

I love this video, but it must be fake. Although I really don't care. I would love to see more of that guy.
