I know it's a shitty stream, but it looks like those guys are playing on low or medium. Also, I'm already seeing how people are going to play the Metro map, by hiding prone in those bushes and picking off people running by. Lame. I'm also not crazy about all of that stuff on the HUD, it's all very distracting and overly designed/animated IMO.

OK I figured out my Origin name is "thesunabsolute" as opposed to the one I had mentioned earlier with the underscores "the_sun_absolute".

Also, is anyone having any luck adding friends on Origin? Every time I try to add one of you guys, I'm getting an error page. C'mon EA get your shit together!

Not sure if I will be playing the beta. Most likely I'll be bored on the weekend and install it.
But since I'm gaming on a laptop, I'll need to wait for mobile grphics drivers too, which is kinda a bummer.

OK, I've added the majority of you guys to my Origin friends list, thanks to those who accepted my request. I think the limit is 100, as opposed to BC2 awful 20.

Any way, any plans on moving this group over from Steam to battlelog once battlelog gets going? Apparently it supports unlimited amounts of friends/groups etc etc.

@thornie: Nope, pretty sure the group will always be on Steam. We will use Origin for text chat once we're in game, but the group and events will be steam. A lot more people will see the Steam events than Origin.

I'm kind of scared now, for a beta code this is not...Good enough, too many people are crashing, key bindings don't work, no free squad selection and so on.

Either this is a very old code or something is horribly wrong.

It is a beta so you can't expect everything to working perfectly but I have to admit, key bindings not working and constant crashes at the end of rounds seems like pretty simple stuff. As for all your stats being saved in real time, that seems to either be disabled or not working because I've managed to unlock the x4 scope for assault about 3 times now but crashes at the end of rounds keep wiping my scores.

Yeah, I'm getting 60+ at 1920x1200 with everything on high and textures on ultra with an HD5970. So much better than in alpha.

Good luck getting in, this beta is crowded like World Of Warcraft expansion launch day, all the servers are full.

Protip: Filter so that it only shows servers with 5+ spots. I haven't waited in any queues. Also don't use matchmaking, it is terrible.

Terrible map to showcase battlefield. No vehicles for a start and only 32 player cap. It is fun just... I want my tank :((((
