What's your opinion on this all kit weapon?.....I like it but I wish you could put a 4x scope on it even though its iron sight is pretty nice.

I think it's a very good gun that seems to be overlooked a lot. It does a ton of damage, but the only real constraint is the 20 round clip - you can't be too trigger happy with it, sadly.

I havent gotten the G3 but In BF2 it had good damage but a crumby clip size. Not surprised it got carried over.

I haven't used it much... the 20shots kinda annoy me. But Germany, ho!

I just found one during my most recent match. It's a really good gun actually - I was down to four shots and still managed to kill an Engineer with it. Does a lot of damage.

can get 3 shot kills if you aim well enough

Great gun, although it gets annoying when Recon players run around with it running and gunning and actually get kills. Also, I'm glad it can't have a scope. That would make it too overpowered.

It's very good weapon for an engineer since the sub machine guns take like 5-6 bullets to kill someone..  just don't spray it it has alot of recoil. should take at least 3 shots to kill anyone in the body.

I started using it with Recon and it's pretty good.

It's my go to gun when dickin around with C4 as assault or recon.

Yeah I was annoyed by the short 20 round clip as well.....runs out fast.

Not as powerful as its real life counterpart (I suppose few guns in games are) but pretty good still. I like it :)

don't listen to anyone here, the g3 is not good. small clip size + very poor accuracy. it isnt a TERRIBLE gun but honestly if youre an engie or assault, youre better off with something else. the only time i ever use the g3 is when im recon (i hate sniping but i look the motion sensor balls) and i rely on cqb with the g3. dont expect to accurately land shots in medium+ range

I don't really like it, I prefer to stick with my Garand.

I dislike the iron sights.

I still have yet to unlock it. I do wish we could put Red Dot and X4 on all the general unlock weapons like G3, M1, Thompson etc.

The iron sites are sweet, and if you fire one at a time or bursts of 2-3 then you can take out snipers a while off. Up close it is powerful but the clip size punishes spraying. :(
