I'm undecided. I played it when it came out and tried to replay it again a couple of years ago, but I lost interest about 1/3 of the way through that second time. I really liked the game, but maybe I don't need to experience it again. I have a bunch of other stuff to finish first.

Are you going to purchase Beyond Good & Evil HD on XBLA?
Yeah. I have the surplus MS points at the moment, don't like the Steam version (controls) and the PS2 version doesn't look good on PAL TVs (obviously designed for progressive scan). So it'll be nice to have a version that looks good and is convenient to play.
I just tried the game on PC, but that is really not much fun. The graphics are glitchy, the game doesn't support a gamepad and even when you make it past those two issues you are still stuck with a 4:3 screen that has a letterbox, thus giving you black bars on all sides. Such a shame that they didn't include native widescreen support. I am not a big fan of download games, but maybe I'll make an exception for this (and that Lara Croft game).
" Is this not coming to PSN and/or Steam? O_o "I'm pretty sure it should come at some point.
Well if my 360 was alive I might, just in hopes that it'd pay for a sequel. I already bought it a long time ago on Steam, and I don't know if a "HD" release would make sense or not, but I'd still probably be in.
" Nope, only thing that game had going was its story and even that wasn't that good. A thousand better games have come out since then, there's still Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm and Killzone 3 for me to play. Why I would spend money on an HD version of a low quality game is beyond me. "I respect your opinion, but look at the games you just listed. Shooter, Shooter, and shooter. Think about it.
I already gave them my $10, so yeah I bought it. I'm conflicted about actually playing it, though. My memory of when I played it the first time (2007) is so excellent that I'm not sure that I want to go through it again and notice the flaws that I'm positive are there.
yes but this 2nd tier nickel and diming is killing me. I've already got magicka and stacking to go through. And calling them 2nd tier isn't calling them less than great, only that DS2 and Killzone 3 are occupying my time. Crysis 2 is coming up in a month and Gawd, all those games from x-mas on steam!
But I have heard of this game for years, and well....looks like time sooner or not much later get it. Where it will sit....
I'll probably be buying it. I've never played it and it looks pretty awesome from what I've seen in the QL.
After playing the demo, I'm still not sure. I enjoy the game fine. But it's the inverted controls that are giving me problems. For some reason the only options are non-inverted, and "invert X and Y". Like most(I think) inverters I only swap the Y axis . So this game's inversion is worse than not inverting. If it were a shooter, there is no way I'd buy it, but I think I can acclimate to it.
not right away, i need the points for torchlight and im keeping the additional 800 points in my account to make sure i get the exiled prince or severed next week. im kind of angry because i bought TDU casino and it never worked right and since i sold that game i wasted the 800 i could have used for this
