Diablo is the Lord of Terror and the most powerful of the three Prime Evils of the Diablo Universe.

The Queen of the Succubi, daughter of Mephisto and mother of the first Nephalem, Lilith is a recurring figure throughout the expansive lore of the Diablo franchise. She first briefly appeared in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and leaves texts in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, but returns as the central antagonist of Diablo IV.

Asheara is the leader of the Mercenary company known as "The Iron Wolves". She appears as a non playable character in Diablo II and Diablo III.

Duriel is the Prince of Pain, and one of the Lesser Evils of Hell. As punishment for helping to engineer the Dark Exile of the Prime Evils, he now guards the tomb of Tal Rasha against any mortal foolish enough to interfere with the plans of the Three.
A major recurring character in the Diablo series, initially appearing to be a quest-giving ally of the player before later being revealed to be in league with Diablo himself.
Archbishop Lazarus, chief warden of the Primal Evil Mephisto's soulstone, acts as false adviser to King Leoric and plays a large hand in helping Diablo escape his imprisonment.
