Braid Is A Great Game And A Must Buy

Braid is a game worth buying. Don't be cautious about the $15 dollar price tag or the game is too short, it is worth buying. Why? Braid is a 2D Platformer Puzzle that keeps you interested in the game and if you are not interested in the story, well you eventually will be.

The gameplay in Braid is awesome.  This is not Mario nor does it play like it. In Braid you use time. You can reverse time. At the beggining it is just used for oops I messed up now I got to go backwards to not die. After a while there will be things not affected by time and some things move with you as you move. It does get frustraiting at times though. This game is no walk in the park if you want to complete all the puzzles (which I highly, highly recommend and if you don't the game won't be nearly as satifying). But as soon as you do finish a puzzle or find a hard piece you feel like a genius.

The story is set up differently than any other game I have played. Not that it is the most effective but it grows on you. At first I didn't care that much, but as I heard about the great story I was going to give it a try. And like me everyone should give it a try. It makes you want to know more at first but you aren't interested that much, but the more you hear the more you want to know and like it. The game tells you the story in these little books you walk through before you start a new world. Also there is so many ways you can look at the story. You can lok at it as the casual guy who thinks all it is about is a guy who wants to find a princess or you can find the many deep meanings of the story. And neither way to look at the story is wrong. That is the brilliant part about it. You can take it as you want to.

Braid is a must buy. It is fun entertaining and gives us something we have never really seen this well executed. This is by far my favorite XBLA game and I really want to get the word out. Also thank you Jonathan Blow for making this game and Giant Bomb for having a website that does it right.  It is really good to see Ryan and Jeff back. But again Braid is a amazing game that should be on everyones' system.

You are your own Castle. 0

I want to rewind time. I want to be able to go back to this morning, to forget everything that happened in the past 12 hours. I want to play Braid again, to have those same revelations, those same discoveries all over again. I want to find the solutions to those devious puzzles, to see the bizarre creatures, to delve into every unique mechanic the game has to offer. Just once more, from the top. But I can't. The least I can do, however, is to help you see those revelations for yourself. Braid is...

A haunting, memorable, interpretative piece of art. 0

I don’t know where to begin. I guess I’ll start at the beginning. Or at least the beginning of my experience with Braid. I didn’t know anything about this title when I downloaded the demo off of live arcade. I never followed a single preview. I was completely in the dark all things Braid, but five minutes in to the demo I realized that this was something amazing. At first I thought I understood Braid. A simple platformer with a fantastically implemented time mechanic. In Braid you play as Tim,...
