    The original Bubble Bobble was released in 1986 in arcades by Taito. Its popularity lead to it being ported to many computers and games consoles and many sequels have spawned from it, including Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars, both of which feature the bubble blowing dragons Bub and Bob in their human form.
