This shows the unacceptable spawning system at it's worst

I saw that a little while ago. The fact that those guys didn't throw the controllers at the wall and destroy their xbox make me believe it's fake.

It's fake, the other team were booster-helpers, but the spawns *are* terrible though. Havana objective based - pray you don't begin at C or you'll be locked the hell in.

Eh, most of the time the game is just fine.

Yeah, its fake.  There are tons of videos on youtube showing that the losing team was just running into the winning team, sometimes just shooting into the air, and then dashboarding out before the game ends.

It's Call of Duty. Anyone who acts like this game is in any way balanced enough to take it seriously is either 12 years old or fucking retarded.

ive heard of a spawn trapping video where the score was like 200-1 or something and the dude kept knifing the same spot over and over again.  ive stopped playing this game after a few weeks online

The spawn system is flawed.  Everyone knows that.  Regardless of that, the video itself is boosted. 
 
I personally have no trouble with playing the game legit, and if anything, I STILL prefer it over Modern Warfare 1 & 2 as well as World at War.  The only thing better is Call of Duty 2, and trying to find any kid nowadays that can even comprehend why that game is the vastly superior game in the franchise is almost impossible.

You have been taken in by a fake vid, my man. BLOPS is fine. Not great, but fine.

Still, it's pretty fucking ridiculous that you can stand behind a spawn point and knife dudes ad infinitum.

It is flawed, but it is very hard to do that and that game is fake. If this bothers you, don't play demolition

And that's why I only play search or wager matches. They each have their own share of griefing, but at least in those cases its avoidable by just being better. 
 
Either way, the spawn system is incredibly flawed, and at times (as in that video) entirely broken. It sucks, but I wouldn't hold out for a total revamp of the spawn system.

The instant that video started and I saw the entire team running right down center, I immediately realized that it was fake. Did a little more YouTubin' and came across this as well. The entire video is pretty interesting, but if you want to get at the most important stuff, just skip to 6 minutes. It's really retarded of people to make fake videos in Black Ops simply because Theater Mode is so open and public. Anyone can catch you slipping like that!

 Like any spawn killing in any game it's a rare occurance and 90% of the matches you play you won't have this happen. But most people seem to think BF is immune to extreme cases of spawn killing like this when clearly it is not. In fact BC2 was one the worst online shooters for spawn camping; to the point where it was common to end a game with the other, or your team trapped in their spawn. It happened a lot. "

  Never in that specific spawn point as shown in the video, but on that same map on the other teams spawn point where they have to pass through a choke point to exit their spawn it was fairly easy to spawn kill. Just sit on the other side with ammo boxes down and grenade launchers ready and go to work. It didn't happen every game, but it happened enough to the point where I had a spot I liked to sit at while 'nading the choke point. It was rare to join a game of Rush on Atacama Desert without having four tanks and two choppers in your spawn raining down death. I could join a game of Atacama Desert right now and probably be placed on a team trapped in their spawn.   Spawn camping is possible on any BC2 map, just those two in particular are the worst for it. "

Why do people keep funding this shitty overhyped series?  

Harvest is a pretty good map.

Dude, i totally agree about Call of Duty 2. I loved the hell out of that game. And really the spawn system is the only major flaw in Black Ops. Its a ton of fun otherwise.  "

Spawns are usually fine for me, wager matches have an odd system. You spawn close to your killer, and everyone knows it now, so you either have a jump on your killer (rarely) or they can kill you easily (most of the time).

Why so much hate for Blops? It is not the perfect game but the spawn system is not as nearly as bad as mentioned. I had way more frustations about spawning in BCBF2 than Blops.

the games collecting dust on my shelf anyways.. refuse to buy the dlc and refuse to buy the next one untill its released and i hear the community say its awesome.. untill then killzone 3 and duke nukem for me... fuck modern warfare 3 in november SKYRIM it is!!
