The fifth installment of the Call of Duty series, bringing most of the gameplay and graphical improvements of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare back to World War II conflict. It is also the first Call of Duty game set in the Pacific Theater.
I don't think anyone else has complained but I can't take it. Field of View is something that is hard for people to tell. I and I understand if the FOV is somin' like 50º when aiming down the sight but when your not it's probably 60º to 75º.
People used to mess with FOV all the time in Quake 1 and 3 (used to play with a 120 to 135 FOV most of the time). Most PC games lock it down these days because it does affect gameplay a lot. Of course console games lock it down naturally as well. I agree often times a low FOV can be annoying to play in.

When you turn the FOV all the way up on QuakeLive it looks like a fish eye mode.
A temp fix suggested would be to bind it to your W key so that when you spawn and start moving, it will reset. To do that, try putting the following exactly as is into your config_mp.cfg file (copy over the existing W bind): bind W "+forward;cg_fov 80" (I couldn't get this to work in the console, but it did work using the config file)
