I am.

" @FluxWaveZ: Are they even making a sequel to TWEWY? "Not that we know of, but I remain hopeful for an eventual one for the 3DS.

" Did the Persona games actually sell well in North America? "Yeah, they actually did quite well over here. Persona 4 more so than Persona 3.

I've heard this a lot but this made it over here with no trouble." I'm kind of glad this is staying in Japan. The drama that will ensue if it ever touches an English-speaking shore would be horrible. "
EDIT: Also, why would they send the JRPGs on PS2, here but not the Multiplatform Action game?
" I want this...maybe...but I'm a pussy plus if Persona 5 is not in development yet I'm gonna be very disappointed "They said "Next year you may hear somethings about some RPGs" in response to "Yo what about that Persona thing?!".
" I'm kind of glad this is staying in Japan. The drama that will ensue if it ever touches an English-speaking shore would be horrible. " @PenguinDust: I assume the sheep(along with Vincent) are Catherine's victims "I'm more of the belief that this nightmare land is a shared dreamscape and the people just look like goats to each other and like themselves to themselves. Vincent does have horns on his head after all. I think it's highly likely that Catherine is involved, the game is named after her, but I don't think we have enough information to say that she's personally putting people into the dream world after sleeping with them.
" @mutha3 said:Wow, I have a third even crazier theory. The dream-world is where people go when they die, the sheep are people dying normally, and Vincent is human because he got sent there by Catherine. The game is Japanese.. and even if it's a platformer (which I figure it might be, possibly a puzzle one) it's still an RPG you'll play as that guy, so still in the end, a JRPG. XP" Adult characters, modern consoles, and no JRPG? I'm down with this. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for a NA release. "

The devs say "Before we storm the hi-def consoles with one of our RPGs, we wanted to try making something new"

@FluxWaveZ: I know this, I'm just saying in the end your still going to be playing a role, thus Role playing game to a certain degree one could agrue. Unless it spontaneously turns into a shooter.. the vibe I get is RPG, the type however, platforming or otherwise is unknown.

Agreed. P5 needs this game's style." This does look sweet and if this is sort of a sneak peek rease at what a future Persona game may look like then im all kinds of HYPED, "

" Man, I really want to try this. It's like the Inception of the gaming world, mixed with Persona. "Ya, just add "Erotic".

@Trikork89 - I've never seen any "Jesus Christ anime's" before, so I'll take your word for it. Not sure what it has to do with this game though.
" @DonutFever said:Oh, there will be. Just for this, as opposed to Persona." @juice8367 said:Damn & I was hoping there would be something at TGS this year "" I want this...maybe...but I'm a pussy plus if Persona 5 is not in development yet I'm gonna be very disappointed "They said "Next year you may hear somethings about some RPGs" in response to "Yo what about that Persona thing?!". @mutha3: I never said you can't have your theory, just as I have mine. I do think Catherine is involved, just not as malevolently as in your theory. At this point, either one of us can be right. Hell, finding out how Catherine fits into this whole thing may be a key plot element in the game itself. I look forward to finding out when the game comes out in America. :D
" @DonutFever: From what I've read on it, Vincent sees a television report where a person died randomly. Seeing as they saw fit to mention it at all, I think that it has to do the dream world. Vincent does say if you fall in the dream world, you die so I'm guessing the guy who dies in the report was one of the other sheep. Don't worry about craziness though; Catherine threw sanity out the window when it had sheeple show up.True. For all we know the game could just be this, but with Catherine.

" @Catolf: "Role-playing game" is a misnomer. It's not the fact that you're role playing as a character that makes an RPG, otherwise effectively every game outside of stuff like Puzzle games would be RPGs. "You make a good point. I guess i've always seen games where you take a role as to a certain extent a RPG. no matter how significant.
" @Zeik said:It's not incorrect to say that all games have elements of RPG in them. Sometimes people think the customization or leveling up of stats is an RPG trait, with is untrue since even games like God of War have upgradable weapon stats or down right character stat upgrades and what not. In most so called RPGs you aren't even playing a role but rather controlling another established character, which isn't exactly the definition of a true RPG." @Catolf: "Role-playing game" is a misnomer. I personally think most games that go under the RPG genre are there for marketing clarity rather than actual game mechanics. JRPGs being the strongest example (Most JRPGs have you controlling established characters such as FF's Cloud or Lightning).
" @Catolf said:(I think) The definition of an RPG is playing a role to an extent that changes the gameplay. TF2 has light RPG elements in that you can choose what class you want to be and play to it's strengths and weaknesses. That 2D/3D in game stuff looks really cool
The easter egg from P3P has deffinetly caught my interest for this game.
It looks bat shit crazy and I can expect another awesome soundtrack from Meguro.
COUNT ME IN.
Exactly, a lot of games are RPGs in a sense. However the term RPG isn't used towards that definition. It's really more of a marketing term to give some identity to the RPG genre." @animateria said:
