The owner of Chaps' gas station and the vocal point of the infamous Kryll infested vehicle sequence in Gears of War, Chaps is an old Stranded coot not to be messed with.

Background

An old tough nut of a Stranded first seen in Act 2 ('Nightfall') of Gears of War.  He owns his fuel station in an area infested with Kryll and was quite willing to help Delta Team in times of need.
 
He made a two re-appearances in Gears of War 2, once in the opening cinematic cradling a fellow injured Stranded and another as a meatflag in the multiplayer Submission mode.
 

Trivia

  • He is one of two Stranded who feature in both Gears of War and Gears of War 2.  Yet he is only seen during gameplay in Gears of War 2.
  • He is invicible during gameplay in both Gears of War and Gears of War 2.
