So I just finished the game, and man I gota say that has to be the best survival horror game I have played in a long long time! The atmosphere the story the game play everything here is just top notch! And man the final boss was FUCKING INSANE (Though easy, still it was fucking insane). I kind thought Vinny was crazy for wanting to name this game of year, but I got to say though it may not really be a game of the year but it most defiantly deserved the nod. All and all im so fucking glad I played this game. Can’t wait to lend it too my friend this weekend so he can enjoy it as well.   

Dead Space is one of the few games where you can be playing it in the middle of the day, all the lights turned on in the house and still be on the edge of your seat scared at what will jump out of the dark at you next. Great game and thats why I picked it as my 2nd best game of 2008!

I agree with you. its morning i just drank a bunch of coffee and there were a lot moments at the end there where i just scream fuck at the top of my longs in fear lol. its a vary intense game.  5/5 in my book! the only thing im kinda bummed about  is the fact the i cant change the game difficulty on my clear save. i feel a lot better about starting the game on insane mode with my full arsenal of weapons. but then again maybe that’s why the dev's did it that way.

On medium difficulty I don't run out of ammo or health, I'm just too rich. Maybe I should try a difficulty a bit harder.
