An open-world action-adventure game following an eccentric FBI agent as he investigates a series of bizarre murders in the small rural town of Greenvale.
I was on the Amazon page for Deadly Premonition today, and I noticed something strange. Some of the screenshots they use have different character models than the ones in the actual game. So, what do you guys think of the altered characters? Do you think a younger George would have improved the game or hurt it?
I think someone brought this up already. That was what the game looked like at an old TGS before people started saying it looks to much like Twin Peaks so they overhauled it.
This has been brought up numerous times. I don't recall what the reason was... maybe the Japanese version was like that? Or they decided he looked too young? Can't remember exactly.

This was brought up a long time ago. They would have been sued if they sent out the game that way. The first "twins" Where midgets. If they had released the game they would have been more or less copying Twin peeks. That is more or less the reason. Also New york looks so much better.
Go watch some Twin peeks then look at the original Trailer for the game.

It was brought up twice. Not bad in truth. Its a fun little thing (I think so) Go goggle the original trailer for the game. Its funny to see young york talk.

Just watched the trailer, and surprised to see York even had a different name. A shame the complaint forced Deadly Premonition's cast re-read all of the dialogue. Then again, even if it was released in 2008 it would be considered highly dated in virtually all aspects of its gameplay and production values.
