    I watched some of this guy's Phantasmagoria 2 LP.  It was entertaining.  I don't really think I'd care to watch him play DP, though.  I need the GB crew's specialized brand of humor and synergy to sit through an ER, really.

    After watching the VJ ER, Spoony somehow doesn't seem to be nearly as funny. I mean, I dunno...maybe it's because I'm used to the exchange between two different people, but I just wasn't terribly entertained with the first episode.

    @dbz1995: Do you mean this in some kind of cosmic sense? I'm with you there. I'm not sure Spoony is necessarily aware of Giant Bomb's existence though. If he had known of the ERs beforehand, that might have swayed him to not do a LP. Then again, perhaps not. Deadly Premonition is the kind of game that would appeal to him regardless of what kind of coverage it was getting.
    He enjoys seeking out bad games; he bought Dirty Dancing for the PC after all.

    This is the first time I've heard of him. Watching through 5 minutes, I say props to him for being on his own and yet still having the ability to actually make it funny.

    Spoony already did his fair share on P4, so I see a pattern here, al right.  Not that it bothers me much, since I love his stuff. Can't imagine him playing completely through, though.

    No he didn't, he just gave his thoughts about the entire shin megami tensei, and subsequentily Persona 4. I highly doubt he's even aware Giant Bomb exists.

    @mutha3:  I'm fairly certain he is aware. He's an avid gamer, so he almost has to know this place. Even if not, he's good friends with Angry Joe, and Angry Joe advertises on our forums. I'm not saying he's a regular viewer, or that he stole the DP idea from GB, I'm just saying there's little doubt that he knows of Giantbomb.

    Yeah, Spoony definitely didn't like, try to steal a market or anything - its not like this is a competition. In any case, he just finished his SWAT 4 Let's Play and that was funny - but edited. Spoony being a one man show definitely made some funny, unique jokes and all - but without a companion voice  I feel like the DP Combat is going to be hard to watch. 
     
    On the bright side, Spoony appears to be much more skilled and confident when it comes to combat - and his brand of humor is unique from VJ or BR, relying more on impersonations, stereotypes and other meta references that I kind of really enjoy.
