30 Seconds to Mars just posted on their Twitter account about this new Dragon Age trailer featuring a preview of their new song "This is War". Even if you don't like 30 Seconds to Mars the trailers kind of interesting, even to someone like myself who isn't very interested in the game. I'll embed it for anyone who wants to watch it:

"This is War" Dragon Age Trailer
" @ArchScabby said:same thing though. Dragon Age has had really bad trailers." kinda bad. Looks like a fan made mash up on youtube. "I don't think it's anywhere as bad as the Manson trailers. "
" Hmm didn't really go . Oh well as long as it does not actually play in the game "It plays nonstop throughout the whole game.
Wow. A better fit then "This is the new shit"....but that is not really saying much. So I pretty much agree with everyone else on this one (especially how it does indeed look like a youtube mash-up).
why do they keep insisting on coupling the franchise with music that has nothing to do WHATSOEVER with heroic fantasy?
" @turbomonkey138 said:Oh god ..... Will they have emo hair as character hair options too ?" Hmm didn't really go . Oh well as long as it does not actually play in the game "It plays nonstop throughout the whole game. "

it's EA, that's the only answer to be given." why do they keep insisting on coupling the franchise with music that has nothing to do WHATSOEVER with heroic fantasy? "
edit: From the end of the trailer saying "The full song debuts in Dragon Age: Origins." I'm guessing that this is the credits music.
I'm really looking forward to this game, but they are really advertising to the wrong group of people...
" I'm really looking forward to this game, but they are really advertising to the wrong group of people... "... on purpose. I'm assuming EA considers "RPG fans" an in-the-bag sale, so the majority of the marketing hasn't been for them, which would only sound like a good idea to someone in marketing.
Well, it makes sense. When you know all the hardcore Bioware and WRPG fans are buying it no question why not try to go for some of the mainstream crowd? I personally haven't been too offended by the music as its been confirmed in several previews and reviews that none of the rock music is in the actual game.
I kinda liked the lyrics to the song, but it the sound of it just doesn't appeal to me at all. I also thought it would've been better to have a symphonic piece backing the video, even if that's a bit over-done.
" @Death_Unicorn said:Spot on, this marketing has EA written all over it. Nothing about it speaks Bioware. Watch out for Mass Effect 2 trailers backed by Miley Cyrus, because EA know they already have the male demographic in the bag."
