I think that last episode adds some new fuel to this discussion. I was strongly in the Krillin camp, but find myself reconsidering.

Gohan is half saiyan. I think what we mean by "human character" is "can they go super saiyan? (Y/N)".

@sanj: is Uub even canon anymore though? I thought they largely wiped things from the last episode or 2 of DBZ away. I don't remember him being in or getting any mentions during the Battle of the God's or Resurrection of Freeza for example. And those included the majority of the cast. I haven't seen super since I'm waiting for the dub, but a friend of mine seemed to indicate that he isn't around there either.

Yeah uub exists but he is still a baby like pan. Gt is non cannon but mayne the characters still are.

Krillin between the two, but I always really liked Piccolo as far as Dragon Ball buds goes.
