I'm interested because there's been a lot of stuff about these 2 motion controllers. Tell me, how many of us will actually buy one of those things? I'm going to guess around 10%, maybe upwards of 30%?
E3 2010

The 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California on June 15-17.
Who will stand with me and not buy Kinect or Move?
I'm waiting to see what developers make for the Move, and you can use a regular dualshock in place of the navigator controller for Move. So you can subtract $30.
The Move actually looks good, and I don't have a Wii.
To get that joke out of the way, I have a penis.
" Also, unless I'm doing really shitty math, I don't think Move is $180. "It's including the Playstation Eye.
i like dickin around with new tech and i got the money so i may end up getting the Kinect AND i may get that PS3 + Move bundle...i'll also buy an extra wand so's long as it functions the same as that $30 castrated wand...i likes balls on my wand, thank you.

$99.99 For the Main Controller, Sub Controller, and PS Eye. Right?
Unless of course you're including a second main + sub controller set, in which case I see what you mean, but I won't be buying two to start.
Huh, they didn't mention the sub controller in the press conference in the bundle. Their fault, they should really mention every component in the thing. Also, was including a second Move which many of the tech demos appear to require." @FrankCanada97 said:

Edit: Read the comments, I'm right, guy who wrote the story is wrong. The Subcontroller is not part of the bundle. Hence, assuming you want to be prepared for any situation the set up can throw at you, 180 US dollars.

"If you don't have a PlayStation Eye, you can most of the Move components together in the PlayStation Move Sports Champions bundle, which comes with the Move controller, the PlayStation Eye, and a copy of Sports Champions (the sports-themed minigame collection) all for $100 dollars. This bundle also doesn't appear to come with the Navigation controller. "
I think the guys at 1up get the information wrong. Even the comments in that note says this.
At the moment, I have no intention of buying either. Kinect really had me intrigued, but it's poor showing at E3 really made me change my mind. As for Move, I don't even have a PS3, but dude, if I did, would I be willing to pay an extra $130 just for me to use it? I don't know about that. All this Kinect and Move stuff is getting really expensive. At least the Wii comes already packaged with all of it's necessary motion stuff.

If Sony wants to be patient with it's fanbase, let 'em. They'll get all the initial buys and will lower the price to including the Nav controller in all those bundles for that price. So $400 gets you everything sooner or later.
I saw that guy playing Forza on Kinect (what a stupid feckin name by the way!) and it looked 0% fun.It will take more than mini game collections and hackneyed sports games to get me to spend £100 on that crap. Then again I am half Scottish so if it was 50p I would moan about it.

Oh look, 70% of us are going to buy at least one of them. Too bad for your little protest."Tell me, how many of us will actually buy one of those things? I'm going to guess around 10%, maybe upwards of 30%? "
I might end up getting both, depending on when Kinect goes down in price and whether or not a buddy of mine will get a 360. But Move is a must-buy, and I will probably get it together with a PS3 when The Last Guardian is released.
Also I am self-confident and open-minded enough to enjoy well made minigame colections.
I might get Kinect, if only for the sweet Minority Report-esque menu navigation.
I could see my friend getting a Kinect so I would be able to test it out before deciding. If I didn't have that option though I would choose the Move in a heartbeat A physical object will always be better than looking like an idiot jumping up and down.... controlling Kinect Joyride was possibly one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.
I might get a Move eventually. I don't know if it'll work with all games, but certainly in some cases you can just use the DS3 in place of the Navigation Controller.
I think the value proposition is a a bit greater too. Even if there ends up being only a small amount of Move specific content, it'll be supported as an alternate control scheme in most games (at least first party ones) going forward.
I'm not getting either. Not because I don't think they'll eventually be implemented nicely into a game, but I'm good with my DS and Wii. Plus, the 3DS is coming around the corner.
I'll try to explain... I see the wii more as a boardgame, it's great when you have friends over, and are playing it together, but on your own, it's simply not the same. I use my ps3 a whole lot more, and generally prefer the type of games out on that platform. So paying for the Move, with the trade in cash from the wii, should leave me cash for an extra title or something. But.. yeah, thats just me." @SirBlimE said:
" Selling wii, getting move. Not using the wii as it is anyway. "Why not? "
" When Kinect and Move get good games I'll think about investing in it. As of now I'm only interested in Kinect because of the menu navigation stuff, but that's not enough. "Pretty much my thoughts on this as well.
I see the potential, but will only think of buying them when a game comes out that holds my interest.
Until such time there is no point.
