Bummer. These live shows are the best part of E3. Fuck you thieves.
E3 2013

The nineteenth annual Electronic Entertainment Expo took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 11-13, 2013.
Day Zero Live
I'm sorry but it's downtown LA. I'm assuming they left the equipment alone? Not a ton of sympathy from me, it was SUPER irresponsible and lazy and they paid for it.
they payd for a place at a profesional studio and from what they talked on the podcast there was suposed to be someone there. I think the owners will have to pay giantmob.
If Gamespot saves the day, you all owe them a big apology for constantly shitting on them and their staff. Seriously.
Unless gamespot stole it in the first place
You propose an interesting theory. Please tell me more...
this is just fucked. i feel so bad for them, but hey necessity is he mother of invention.
good luck catching this fucker and getting your stuff back, duders.
FUCK FUCK FUCK. It's always the best part of E3 for me :(. Hope everything's back to normal tomorrow.
Oh man that sucks. Was listening to last weeks podcast earlier and they were mentioning their new place was a whole lot "better" and probably safer then last years site. I guess last years site took a giant leap ahead of this years. Sucks guys, hopefully they catch the thief.

I guess in fucking downtown L.A. no one ever leaves their homes and businesses. They just sit there all day and night with a shotgun guarding their possessions?
What a shame. Do a doubley long podcast tomorrow! 6 hours of the night! In fact, cancel half your meetings and start it a few hours early. That'd be a good idea.
@sarnecki: There was supposed to be a dude at the space at all times, I thought they said that on the podcast.
I'm assuming they left the equipment alone?
Hmm... that question kind of makes your following sentence a wee bit presumptuous, don't ya think?
Double Hmmmm Sarnecki....dont you think that your question kind of makes your following sentence a wee bit presumptuous, don't ya think?
Not that it makes this act any less heinous, but do you reckon it was all just crew equipment that got stolen? Or could there have been personal belongings that got stolen as well?
Maybe they'll be helped by the fact that the CBS broadcasting building is right down the street. I imagine they could give them some fine video equipment.
@barrock: I think they are renting out a different place.
When I lived in Downtown LA, my car was broken into for a computer monitor that was worth less than replacing the broken window. Generally, LA is a shitty place to live and it's filled with shitty people. Of course, there are always exceptions but it's by far the worst place I've lived -_-;;
@thatfrood: This Cold War just went nuclear.

explain locking of topics about this without any explanation, chat going up & down (it's been more than 5 months since the move to cbs) and people waiting to find out almost half an hour later of no show.
Getting shit stolen is pretty shity and I understand they were busy but thing could have been communicated better.
they can't exactly be super clear when they have LAPD in the place, busy listening all the stuff stolen.
and you know what? it was super stressful, so maybe whining about how they weren't the most communicative they could be is a little assholish.
The shitty part is the thieves will probably get away with it. Sure the crew will get new equipment and stuff, but justice won't be served. I hope I'm wrong on that.

They were robbed. It takes time to process since they have to see what's missing and if a show was possible. And from Alex said, it sounds like they wanted to make sure they knew what was going on before they let the word out.
My house was recently broken into during the morning a couple of months ago, while I was here. It took me about 20 minutes before I even called the cops.
