A physical confrontation between two opponents without any outside interference.
Carefully exploring a large, labyrinthine area full of enemies (i.e., a dungeon) in the hopes of finding treasure, leveling up, or completing a specific task. Having their roots in tabletop games, video game dungeon crawls are found almost exclusively in RPGs.
Dwarves are a short, stout race that appear in any number of fantasy games and stories. They are almost always depicted as short with bushy beards similar to vikings. They can also be identified by their love for ale and gold. Other common trends for Fantasy Dwarves include being proud warriors, favoring axes as their weapon of choice, and being gruff sticklers for tradition and honor.

Ensnaring or rooting an enemy allows a player to keep an enemy from running away or the ability to keep an enemy at a distance.
Erudites are a race in the EverQuest series. As humans evolved from barbarians, Erudites believe they are the next evolutionary step. Erudites are the most intelligent race of people in the world of Norrath.
Missions during which players are tasked with protecting a non-playable character or object from harm until a certain goal is met.
To elude, escape, or get away from. Some games require players to escape from some people or things to perform some objective or avoid death.
Throwing a fireball or zapping your foes with chain lighting are both great examples of evocation magic.
An Expansion brings new missions, modes & new story elements to a full product title. Expansions typically require a full version game to function, but there are also stand-alone packs as well.
Experience Points are part of a character advancement system commonly found in RPGs. These points are generally gained by defeating an enemy or completing a task.
