    F-Zero X Expansion is an expansion to the N64 game F Zero X, and was only released in Japan on April 21, 2000 on the 64DD. This expansion was never released outside of Japan, and was only functional with the Japanese version of F-Zero X. The expansion featured all of the audio tracks from the original, as well as 12 new ones.

    The two main features of the expansion kit were the car editor, allowing for customization of the vehicles as well as an in-depth racetrack editor, similar to the ones used by the developers of the game, allowing for the construction of many tracks, and the ability to save up to 100 of them on the disc.
