I actually struggled with this a bit. It has to be your other half that asks you to get crackin'. Then give her/him the thumbs up and go to a bed. Instead of choosing how long you sleep, you choose whether or not you use a condom. No condom equals baby.
So the hard part is just getting the AI to propose. I suggest staying around this person without doing expressions and let it do the talking.
