I think it makes sense. They're being practical about it. The interview is written oddly though. Seems like they cut each other off a lot.

The tech-support side of things is something I'd never even though of before. It must be such a pain in the ass knowing you're paying people to responding to calls and emails trying to help people who've stolen the game.

Sounds good to me, I love simple copy protection. Not because I'm a file sharer, I haven't done that in years. But because Starforce broke one of my DVD drives after installing a game that used it (trackmania I think?) :(

The topic was about DRM, which I gave a positive comment about.  I can't help it if Bethesda-related stuff makes me spurt out unnecessary opinions about the quality of their games.  =  /  They just have that effect on me."

I don't care because I have no reason to buy this game for the PC, because my computer, well... sucks. I still can't wait for the 360 version though.

I see no problem with DRM as long as its robust and works, If it screws the users is limited and crappy then its a bad thing.

It limits the amount of times you can install a PC game. PC video game piracy is through the roof, to the point that developers are starting to hesitate when it comes to investing in the improvement of games. DRM makes sure that you don't install the game 20 times and hand out CD's to all of your friends. Im getting the 360 version so meh but EA's DRM is really starting to piss me off you cant install any of there games without installing the download manager and then if you dont they wont run at all

Xbox 360 fanboys can be obnoxious and immature, so can PS3 fanboys, there are no Nintendo fanboys. They all assert that they have the superior console without backing up their claims. PC fanboys don't do this, instead they see themselves as somehow "superior" gamers. This is nothing any other gamers do, an Xbox 360 fanboy might think that his console is cooler than the PS3 user, but he doesn't think less of the actual gamer.

PC fanboys view that if a game is good, it should always come out on the PC and the consoles somehow don't deserve the game. They tell others that the PC version will be superior in every single aspect, without taking into consideration the benefits of consoles (regardless of platform.)
