on a serious note, i hope it's 'real episodic content' which includes new characters and environments. maybe something on the scale of taking us seamlessly (with no load times) out of the central dc area and into a brand new location with different geography and all.

Probably new areas, maybe a few new enemies specific to that area along with a questline to go with it, new guns, and maybe a perodical reference of the horse armor, but that last one might already be in there

I like to talk in Titles font so people read my post.

But to answer the question, probably the same type stuff as Oblivion had. That worked out well, so I assume they will do the same. New characters and stories to do.

In all seriousness, the DLC will likely be an added section to the city. Maybe an underground city, or something along those lines. Just think Shivering Isles in a Fallout 3 theme.

I think the DLC should be included in the game. If a dev is gonna make DLC, don't freaking announce it before the game comes out! At least try and make it look like you "forgot" to add it.

They are making a game and they say that in the future, they have plans to add DLC to it. What's wrong with that?

They are not saying "This DLC is done and could ship, but we are going to hold onto it and sell it later." ...they are saying that they will be working on DLC post-release to give the game legs after it's been out for a while. There is absolutely nothing wring with that.
