Never heard of "Edge" or "TeamXbox," so I'm gonna discount those. Oh, and some people are gonna try to say this is a duplicate thread. It's not, yours is more complete.

As evidenced by the variety of these scores, this is a game you need to play and see for yourself.

A 5 from Edge? I know they have high standards but ouch.

Its like FFXii, you love it or hate it.

" I still believe that many reviewers are going to rate this game low just to gain some momentary notoriety. I haven't played it yet (pre-ordered it for Tuesday), but I've seen a lot of gameplay, and I can say that I'm pretty sure it's not 5/10-worthy.  Like others have said, though, it seems to be a love it or hate it game. Edge does use the full 1-10 scale, so it's hard to translate into the standard (flawed) 1-10 scale. It doesn't really change the fact that a 5/10 is ridiculous, though. Love it or hate it, this game does a lot of great things and you'll want to play it before passing judgement. "
