This has been confirmed via his livestream, which I believe is currently still going at the time of this writing. Are you hype? If not, are you going to get hype?
@Lucien_Lachance: He might also be there to promote Gears 3 with Epic. Also E3 is happening within 2 months so It all just seems like the perfect time.
I'm just curious how it will work out. I can just see him being in a small segment of the podcast because it may just be awkward to have him for the whole thing.
No matter what direction this goes, it's bound to be magical. @RiotBananas: It didn't think much of him initially, but I after the hype brought on by Jeff and Ryan, I checked out his twitter and I found his persona genuinely amusing. And I don't mean that in a condescending way. He seems like a fun guy with a lot of drive and confidence and an interesting take on life. And it's just fun as a guy who really likes video games to see someone famous be totally excited about video games.
regardless of what we think of Ice T, the guy is an A list star and it's awesome that he would spend some time with the giant bomb crew. If you think about it, it's probably bigger than having Miyamoto or Reggie on the podcast.

I would like it on record that I genuinely like Ice-T's earlier output (Rhyme Pays, Power, Iceberg et al) since listening to him a lot in high school c1989. Therefore I'm most certainly, as you crazy kids seem fond of saying, hype.
Have you all actually heard him talk about gamers? He pretty much disses anyone that takes it serious, calling it "nerdy", "geeky", etc. Not really the model that everyone freaking drools over because he's on a Law and Order show.
