Odd quirk with streaming videos from the site.

Occasionally, the video will skip back a second or two and replay that segment and then continue on. Is this a problem on my end or with their player?

@mikey1138: It's a problem with older videos. The segmentation is bad on those and you can't even skip to a position you want. It's usually off by 2-4 seconds. I assume this is also why the auto quality switching isn't seamless - it jumps around by few seconds.

It's really annoying on 2008-2010 content, maybe even up to 2012. I always switch the Quality to HTML5 or YouTube when I watch the old stuff.

I still get that problem with brand new content though. This only started happening relatively recently for me i think.

Watching a QL through gamespot now to see if it occurs there as well.

What are you video quality settings set to?

Maybe fiddling with that would help?
