What is the maximum icon image size for your profile on this site, both in filesize and in pixels? I tried search and the FAQ, but couldn't find anything.
Don't think there is a limit on filesize. Animated icons won't work though. As for the image size (pixel wise) it's best to keep something that square in shape so it doesn't look off when you use it.
I don't believe there is a limit. There are some huuuuuuuuge images on the site (both filesize & pixels), and any image uploaded to the site can be set as an icon. If there is a limit, it's extremely big & it's not going to be something you can break easily.
.profile .read-more img is set in bomb_black_10057.css for a width of 300 pixels. So an image with a width of 300 should fit perfectly on your profile, at least until the site designers screw around with the skin again.
