which seat do i take? oops which do you think i should get the 3ds will entertain me for longer but it costs wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy more than just a 360 game which should i purchase?
MK is a guaranteed return, while a 3DS is an investment for the future.
I fail to see how these are mutually exclusive though. If you can afford a 3DS (and games, I'm assuming) you could probably get both if you shop smart.
Since the Nintendo 3DS's library isn't particurly impressive (well, not yet anyway) and the new Mortal Kombat is an awesome reboot of the franchise, I think you can tell which is the right choice to make.
Unless you like looking at hardware instead of playing things on it then 3DS. If you actually enjoy doing something then MK. Wait a year or two for the 3DS to get a redesign and actually have a couple games worth playing.
I would say. Mortal Kombat. Simply because they aren't enough games out for the 3DS at the moment. Not worth it yet. Mortal Kombat is cheaper (way cheaper), and you will probably enjoy it till some decent 3DS games come out.
Mortal Kombat. There's not much out for the 3DS right now that seems like a must play. So buy MK now and wait for some more software to become available on the 3DS before buying it.
I couldn't recommend the 3DS less at this point.. at best, I'd say wait until E3 and see if they announce anything really exciting for the thing. A port of Mortal Kombat, for example, could be really cool on the 3DS. But at the moment, it's too expensive and literally has no games worth playing. The only thing coming for the foreseeable future, is Ocarina of Time. And unless you've never played it before, there's no hurry. If you really want one, leave it until the end of the year.
