Really want to see Jagged Alliance and Endless space go on sale
@VicRattlehead: Yeah, mandude is right, Civ 5 has been on sale in both a daily deal and a flash sale. I'm hoping that they occasionally have repeat flash sales, though, as I missed out on Warlock and Grimrock. If they do repeat sales I would assume that Civ 5 will be high on the list. I got my copy for $7.49, and they were also selling the complete edition for $12.49. Figured I'd pass on the complete edition and just get the Gods & Kings expansion during the Christmas sale.
Can't wait to see today's deals!
All I bought was Tropico 4 and that was for my Girlfriend. I'm thinking about Fallout: New Vegas but I'm afraid my Video card isn't good enough for it
- Might and Magic Clash of Heroes
- Analogue: A Hate Story.
That's all and probably will be all. Nothing else interests me right now.
About 20 euro maybe, not sure. Anyway only bought From Dust and The Walking Dead. I have to say The Walking Dead is the best game I have played this year so far. Excellently written and just good overall. I can't wait for the next episodes.
The rest of the sale is fairly meh for me though. Nothing really catching my eye or any thing I really want to buy.
I've spent about $70-80. Don't have much money right now and most of the stuff on sale is stuff I already have. There have been a few things I might have picked up with a bit more cash on hand but I'm quite happy with what I've picked up.
- Walking Dead
- Alan Wake's American Nightmare
- RAGE
- Indie Game: The Movie
- Ys Origin
- Cave Story +
Got the expansion for binding of isaac... everything else I've either got on 360, or want to get on 360 for achievements. (not really important but I like them anyways, gives me something to shoot for once I finish a game) There's been a few tempting sales, but nothing that I could see myself needing. :/ Hoping for an arma 2 flash sale or some such like a few others, but few days left yet, might find something I can't live without.
Just 4,99€ for Analogue: A Hate Story. Not sure about Krater, but I'm weirdly fascinated by it.. guess I'll bite.
Nothing. I already have a lot of games I haven't played yet, some really good ones, and I'm still sorting out my gaming pc. I've mainly been gifted stuff by a friend, who (or we) hopes we can have a huge LAN-type-thing and play through a lot of games.
- Legend of Grimrock
- Trine 2
- Thief 1 and 2
- Dear Esther
- Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
- Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb expansion
Hopefully Civ 5: Gods and Kings will get marked down more but I doubt it.
i wouldn't call it damage. i feel like i should have paid MORE. gone up to 84 euros now (kinda like a 100 $ or smt?)
i've bought: mirror's edge, portal, portal 2, back to the future series, witcher 2, from dust, monkey island 1 and 2 special editions, red faction guerilla, assassins creed 2 + all dlc, assassins creed brotherhood + all dlc, fable 1, stacking, gta 4 + all dlc, arkam city: harley dlc, simcity 4 deluxe and dragon age + all dlc
i would have also bought bordlerlands with all dlcs, both bioshocks, fallout 3 and new vegas, but they are crappy low violence editions so no thanks..
steam is so good..
Not too bad so far, I held off looking until today and only ended up spending $9.50 or so on Hitman: Blood Money and Longest Journey. Sim City 4 is tempting me though.
So, far about $159. I was completely broke for the last 2 sales, so I had a lot of catching up to do!
- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
- Assassin's Creed Revelations
- Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Pack
- Just Cause 2 (with all DLC)
- Amnesia: The Dark Descent
- BioShock 1&2
- CoD: Black Ops
- Crysis
- Crysis 2: Maximum Edition
- Crysis Warhead
- F.E.A.R.
- F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
- F.E.A.R. 3
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Metro 2033
- RAGE
- Spec Ops: The Line
- The Darkness II
Not too shabby when you consider that it's the equivalent of 2 new games and 1 used. There are a few others I want to pick up, but I'm waiting for either a daily deal, community vote, or flash sale on them. If not, I'll pick them up on Sunday.
$7.50 on Hitman: Blood Money & Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Already have to big of a back log to justify spending even more money on games.

$150-ish...? Haven't kept track.
There's a tab right next to the one you're currently on called "Store Transactions"; it should list everything you've bought + how much you paid.
Just an update, including gifts on sale I'm now a little over 300$ and having trouble thinking of anything else that I'd even buy since krater went on sale. I think I might be done unless something awesome goes on sale that I didn't even think of.
Currently have Alan Wake and Krater sitting in my cart, going to stop by gamestop later and trade in some old stuff to pay for that.
-DCS Black Shark for 5$. I blame flight club, but I already love it. I'm still holding out on Warthog going even cheaper than it is.
-Saints Row 3. It is just about as awesome as GB made it out to be.
-Legend of Grimrock, really intense game. Definitely getting a nostalgic feel of challenge from it.
-Binding of Isaac. I'm still not even sure what that game is, but for two dollars I have to at least try it.
That's about all for now. There's so many games that I only sort of want that I've been paralyzed with indecision. It's saving me a lot of money at least.
So far the only things I've bought are The Binding Isaac DLC, Wrath of the Lamb, and Legend of Grimrock. I also got Sid Meier's Civ 4 + expansions and Civ 5 a few days before the sale started though. And I gifted some game or the other to some duders in The Giant Bomb Steamgifts Giveaway Group. So I'm pretty sure my total is something like $20. I don't really want to buy anything else but I imagine I'll probably break down and buy S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat before the night's over.
I've spent $15 so far during this sale. I have picked up the Thief Collection, Killing Floor, and The Witcher.
Alan Wake, Borderlands, Walking Dead, Civ 5, Unreal Tournament 2004 (It was $3.74!) and Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition.
$25.45 on Terraria, Hitman: Blood Money, Poker Night at the Inventory, Double Fine pack (Costume Quest, Stacking, Psychonauts), and Indie Bundle V(Audio Surf, Gemini Rue, The Tiny Bang Story, Ys: the Oath in Felghana, Greed Corp).
Warlock - Master of the Arcane: I already played an epic 11 hour game and fuck was that an excellent purchase already. I had heard good things, I was very pleased.
Tribes - Ascend Steam Starter Pack: A surprisingly fun game. I'm a couple dozen hours in, bought some things on the cheap. Really quite good for ftp.
NFS - Hot Pursuit: I checked it out for 2 hours on the racer side and I'm glad I bought it. Great arcady Criterion racing fun approachable by idiots with little skill like me.
Total around 18 €. Fine with me so far.
Now I'd really like to resist the Sins: Rebellion daily because that would just double my spending. I didn't play the franchise since the very first (excellent) game though and really want to again. Hm...
On my list were Sniper Elite V2 & SpecOps: The Line which didn't really get enough of a discount because they're too new. Same goes for Civ5 Gods & Kings which I'd only buy at 10-15 € right now since I also have a small or medium sized backlog I can't wait to get into.
Fallout 3: GOTY - $4.99 - I've played the 360 version extensively, never played any of the DLC though.
Just Cause 2 - $3.74 - I've always had my eye on this. This seemed like a price too good to pass on.
GTA: San Andreas - $3.74 - I've had a ridiculous urge to play this again. Cheaper than buying it on PS2 or Xbox.
Cave Story + - $2.49 - Just looks really cool.
That's a lot-o-game for $14.96.
I'm trying to wait on The Witcher 2. I know I wouldn't get around to it until the end of the year. Hopefully it's on sale again during the holiday sale.
I'm sure I'll grab a few more things on the cheap.
I' ve spent a total of 55.64 on the following games:
Shatter
Darksiders
Renegade Ops
Super Meat Boy
The Walking Dead
Tiny & Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Crysis: Maximum Edition
Probably going to pick this game up if the price lowers between now and the end of the sale as well:
Rayman Origins
Binding of Isaac
Frozen Synaps
Dungeons of Dredmore
Amnesia
Cave Story+
A Valley Without Wind
All told, around 40 bucks. The only reason it isn't higher is cause I have a mac and a lot of stuff isn't compatible. I love macs but maaaan. I'm seriously considering picking up a PC. I'm missing out on some great games.
I have spent ~$45.00 spent in this sale already (getting close to my $60 limit).
-Witcher 2 at 40% off - $23.99 (I couldn't resist any lower)
-Hitman: Blood Money (I always meant to check this series out with Ryan and Patrick describing BM as the best in the series thus far) - $2.49
-Time Gentlemen, Please! and Ben There, Dan That! Adventure Combo - $1.00 (A dollar for two adventure games)
-Monkey Island 1&2 Special Edition - $3.74 (Time Schafer needs venture capital)
-Stacking - $3.74 (Tim Schafer needs more venture capital)
-Galactic Civilizations II Ultimate Edition - $4.99 (Purchased the original game plus Dread Lords expansion way back when)
-Tribes: Ascend - Steam Starter Pack - $4.99 (I now basically "own" the game, right?)
