I think this idea treats choice as far too much of a binary thing and doesn't acknowledge that there are social as well as natural factors which make us more pre-disposed to enjoy gaming.
I believe the people that dont like games either dont understand them or are too scared to be considered "nerdy" by liking them. The latter are pathetic and the former are just missing out. Ive been gaming for fourteen years and Ill never stop and if someone sees anything wrong with that they can fuck off

@Mageman: A lot of things are involved in liking and not liking something. Maybe the friend that didn't like video games never gave them a fair chance. Maybe he could never afford to buy games so he never played them. Maybe he has to much on his plate to play video games thus the act of playing them seems meaningless. Liking something, kind of like everything else in the world, is to complicated to dumb down to a black and white, choice or not choice argument.
