What are the best zombie games? I have a xbox and wii. Also a ds but i doubt there are good games on that.
Best Zombie game?
If you have some friends to play with and you haven't tried Left for dead 2 yet, go for it. In my opinion, it's not only the best zombie game but one of the best cooperative games I've played. I'm sure you and a couple of buddies can get it cheap these days. If you're looking for a single player experience then perhaps skip left for dead and see how Resident Evil 6 turns out. Personally, I don't really need any other game other than left for dead 2 for scratching my zombie killing itch. Then again, I have a dedicated group of friends to play with.

do you have an xbox or an xbox 360?
there's also Plants vs Zombies for DS (retail and on DSiWare)
best zombie games on Wii: Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil (port of the gamecube remake) and Resident Evil Zero (also gamecube port)

Hey, someone had to break it to the kid sometime. I'd rather get it over as soon as possible and as bluntly as possible. Then we can let the healing process begin.
Zombie games are fine despite what the popular new internet opinion will dictate. Anything made well will play well.
Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 5 are both good and very unique in their own ways.
Both Dead Space games offer amazing atmosphere.
Dead Rising 2 will give you that fill for mindless slaughter.
Dead Island while not perfect does present a very unique take on zombie games.
Dead Island is a great zombie game, although people keep talking shit about it, a lot of the problems with it have been improved. And I found it a very enjoyable game.

HEY GUYS ITS 2012 NO ONE LIKES ZOMBIE GAMES ANYMORE REMEMBER
Since you have a Wii, that means you can emulate GameCube games too. The best you could do is either the Resident Evil Remake (Just called Resident Evil), Resident Evil 4 (The Wii Port. It adds a lot of content), or Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. RE: TUC is a light gun game but there's a lot of RPG stuff, and a lot of replayibility. I haven't played it myself but I would try the sequel, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. You could also try finding the PS1 to GameCube ports of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Another vote for Dead Island...glitchy, goofy and at times unbalanced (if you're playing solo) but it's great fun. Do yourself a favor and play w/ the analog controls. It's awesome and improves the game hugely in terms of combat.
The trailer of Dead Island is quite cool, and the game is not as bad as some might say. I find it pretty enjoyable, it's really good zombie-slashing piece of stuff from Techland.
Not the sequel. I'll not kill zombies in the mall without my RMB.
Left 4 Dead 2 on PC. Especially since it now has all of the campaigns from the first game added in and upgraded with L4D2s dismemberment and melee weapons.
Left 4 Dead series, Resident Evil remake, Dead Island, Plants vs Zombies. For DLC? Borderlands' Zombie Island had some quirky zombies that were fun to kill in co-op. Also the Red Dead Redemption DLC Undead Nightmare: fantastic storyline and awesome quests.
Survival Crisis Z
It's free on the PC and it's great fun. I still can't believe how there still aren't ANY zombie games on the market that gives you the feeling of surviving and exploring an apocalypse. This is the closest we got.
Thank you! I was about to cry going through the first page of this thread and seeing a lack of L4D2 love, man that game is freaking awesome, if you have friends to play with that would be my vote because on your own the game can be fairly boring. If you want something on the platforms you listed, then plants vs zombies is the winner. Left 4 dead 2 is the overall best zombie game ever. Great coop, excellent gameplay, and just a lot of fun.
I have to go with Undead Nightmare. I think it's at a slight advantage being the expansion to what is probably my favorite game of this console cycle. The Left 4 Dead games are great if you know a few people to play with, same with Dead Island, though to a lesser extent.
Left 4 Dead 2 and Plants VS Zombies is all the zombie you'll ever need.
