I searched, but couldn't find anyone mentioning it.   If you pre-order championship manager 2010 you can choose how much you wish to pay (min £2.51).  I'm not sure where this offer is available but it is definately valid in the UK.  I've only just caught it myself, so not much other info, but hope this helps someone pick up a bargain.

Wish more pre-order bonuses worked like this :)

Well first off I live in the US, but even if I didn't, I'm more of a Football Manager guy anyway.

This is a pretty important story, it'll be interesting to see how it works out.

I picked it up for £5 (I know, generous right?), which is still £5 more than they would otherwise have got from me.

Yer its seems its a intresting idea but I wonder why the choose to do it, because for the best part of 4 years CM as been behind FM in terms of sales and popularity so are they so in need of sales they thought this would boost them because it will. But maybe its because of Square Enix cash injection into Edios, seems a bit cruel that devolpers are shutting down due to the recession and the people behind CM can still not make a profit but keep going.  BTW ill be buying it for about £5.01 just to beat Jimbo

£2.51 is £42.50 too much for me to be interested.

These games have a tendency to kick me in the teeth."hmm you seem to be doing welll lets give a penalty to the opposition injure you best player and send off some one else"Still it will be fascinating to see if it makes more profit than the previous game,

Yeah, I saw this. While I prefer SI's Football Manager games, I'll happily pay £2.51 to give championship manager a go. It's a great deal.
