Dead Space...

, Far Cry 2, or Saints Row 2? Which should I get? I can't pick.  = (

Dead Space.

Not Saints Row 2. Dead Space will probably have a demo. Far Cry 2 won't. So try the Dead Space demo if it comes, if you hate it - then get Far Cry 2.

Yeah, all three look good, but I can't decide. I have to say; I'm leaning towards Dead Space.

Between those 3 I'd put Dead Space and Farcry 2 in the priority category. If I was only able to get one of those two, it'd probably be Farcry 2 because of the multiplayer... but Dead Space looks fucking great.

Out of those 3 you obviously want Dead Space the most...so just get that game. Or maybe pick up a copy of Space Chimps instead. It has to be like, 18 times better because not only does it have space, but chimps too!...and they're alive!

Wasn't there a post like this a week ago? Anyway; Far Cry 2. I find the open landscape intriguing, the concept that you can travel anywhere with a day/night cycle, do raids on enemy positions in the early morning when the sun is glaring into their eyes (which the developers has said affects the enemy's accuracy when shooting at you, or even seeing you), the fire-spread technology, shooting a box of ammunition near a spread of tall grass, watching is spread over an enemy entrenchment, blazing them on fire and witnessing their flame death is a great concept.
Dead Space seems great too, but it feels rather linear compared to Far Cry 2, and Saint's Row 2... well... GTAIV raised the bar so high I can't see SR2 even reaching it with their middle finger.

From what I saw Dead Space is the better one if it turns out bad or you didn't like the demo(if they release one) then get Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2 doesn't look good.

I'd say Deadspace, it looks amazing.

I'd have to go with Saints Row.

Yeah, I'm really hoping for a Dead Space pre-release demo.

Wait for demos or just wait until they are out and rent them for a week - much easier than buying them! the rental service Jeff uses lets you by games you have rented from them so that might be the way to go.

I'm going to say Dead Space looks like it's going to flop (decent 7.5 title, thats it) and I doubt farcry 2 is worth buying

Dead Space if you like SP games, FC2 if you enjoy the sandboxy theme and want multiplayer. Saints Row... buy it when it's like $10 in the bargain bin.

Well first eliminate SR2. Then your left with Dead Space and Far Cry 2, then it's personal preference.

Far Cry 2 or Dead Space but Im personally waiting for reviews to be sure

I'd put it between Far Cry and Dead Space, not sure which is going to be better though.  I'm hoping for some demos.

So why is SR2 hated so much?  Is the game really that bad in the graphics dept?  Or is it the story, or what?  I didn't expect the game to be hated.

Why do people always have to limit themselves to one?

You'd have to have severe autism to think that SR2 has even a 10% chance of not flopping.

I am buying saints row 2, renting dead space, and getting farcry 2 for christmas........thats just my plan....i think its going to work out pretty good.

I say wait for the reviews but I'm personally picking Dead Space if it helps.
