Last month I got Frogger Returns from PS Plus. The game has 4 trophies (1 Silver, 3 Gold). One for completing each area. Play the game on time trial mode and you have unlimited lives. So I S ranked that game in 20 minutes. What were your easiest S ranks? Anything faster than 20 minutes and free?
Easiest S ranks that you've completed?
One of the Sam & Max games that I own on the 360.
I've never been one to hunt for achievements and then suddenly "Hey you have everything!", was kinda surprised how easy it was to get those when I finally decided to go check what you had to do to get the achievements o.O
Don't you pay for PS Plus? The easiest S Rank I did for a downloadable was probably Galaga or Gunstar Heroes. They weren't free either though.
@JasonR86: Skyrim is the the same. But both will take you rough 100 hours.
I would say Linger in Shadows for PSN. It takes 20 minutes. And its not even a game really. Its interactive art. You just play with the camera and at the end all the trophies pop up.
And for 360 The Walking Dead. Takes 2 hours (so far for the first episode), and you can not missing a single achievement.

Oblivion. All you need to do is play the game to completion and you've got an S-rank.
yeah, but "completion" takes about 50 hours if you're rushing. King Kong was pretty easy, as were most of the 360 launch titles. I think I blazed through 1000 points in that Terminator game in about 4 hours as well.

Well, Avatar The Last Airbender: Burning Earth is the classic example. TMNT was also pretty easy. There were some sports games too. College Hoops 2K6 and NBA 2K6 were both really easy.
Definatly Avatar The Last Airbender: Burning Earth. Easiest and fastest S-Rank I had ever got. Also the Monkey Island games they put out on Xbox Live since I had known a lot about those games to begin with it wasn't too much trouble speeding through them and without any hints.
[Prototype 2] was pretty easy. There was a boatload of pretty easy ones at start of the 360s life, but I played any of those games.
Do XBLA games count? If they do, I was practically able to S Rank Symphony of the Night in my sleep, I've played that game so many goddamn times. I don't even know why I got it on XBLA, I still have my original disk. Backup, maybe?
Pacman Championship Edition was really easy. The COD games are never hard so I'd consider those easy too. Takes up like 2 days for each.
@laserbolts: Yeah you pay for PS Plus but I only bought it for cloud storage. I had hundreds of hours of saves lost when my 60GB model died. Once cloud saves were added to Plus I dropped the money for Plus. The betas, minis, Pulse, and game trials I haven't bothered touching. The games I do download (usually) but I haven't played half of them. If you look at the number of games you get and the price you pay for plus then the games are cheaper than iPhone games so they are essentially disposable.
i dont think i have any actually. i have like half a dozen games that i could go finish the S-rank for right now. only need one or two achievements for a bunch of games. but ive never cared about that.
Battlefield 1943 was really easy to S rank, and so was Borderlands before the Claptrap Revolution DLC came (god damn collection achievements!).
I have to say that Mass Effect 3 is by far the easiest retail game I've ever S ranked because there's only one actually challenging achievement, to complete the game on insanity, and that's fairly easy.

The Walking Dead, the only S rank I have.
I have one other s rank, but yeah. I was actually a little bummed that it didn't have achievements based on different choices and all that, but I'm ok with an S Rank.
Oblivion was super easy, but I lost that one with some issues recovering my gamertag after a long period of being offline and losing a bunch.

Easy and long can coexist. That game is mad easy and none of the achievements are difficult in the slightest or require any real skill.

Oh yeah, Battlefield 1943 was really easy. The only issue with that one was playing 100 rounds because that game was garbage. Having to sit there and play it so much was painful.
Dash of Destruction, but King Kong is a close second since it bugged out and took longer than it should have.
