Im leaning towards the PS3 version simply because of the single Blu Ray disc, but there is something to be said for the 360 achievements. Looking at the recent video there doesnt seem to be any difference in graphical fidelity between the two versions...
ps3 because im getting most of my multi platforms there now to give my 360...less usage, in case it dies (again). unless its a bayonetta case (got it on 360) ill get all my multis on ps3...until that breaks too >_>
I don't think it matters too much at this point. Disc swapping doesn't bother me in the slightest, in fact, I almost welcome it. Gives me a reason to take a break haha. I'll be getting the 360 version purely because I don't own a PS3. I was contemplating getting one for this, but seeing as they're not releasing that awesome white FFXIII PS3 slim in the west... I'll just stick to the Xbox for now.
Achievements ain't an argument anymore, seeing as the PS3 has trophies.
I'm interested, but not "full-price" interested. It all depends on which one gets deeper discounts faster - so I'm assuming I'll be getting it for the 360.
Actually screw that, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get a loaner from a friend, so, whichever they buy. :)

My TV is only 720p compatible anyway, so makes no difference to me (and I'm sure I'm not the only one).

Oh yeah but if you have a surround sound system that accepts optical audio then you can enjoy that lossless audio. :)

Yeah, that's the only thing I feel like I'm missing out on. Not enough reason to justify purchasing a whole new console.

You don't have to use the optical audio or have a surround system to enjoy lossless audio. The audio for HDMI is more than capable and so are stereo systems. As someone who is into 'that stuff' what really matters is the 1080p resolution of cut-scenes. The benefit of losless audio is trivial in my opinion there is no discernible difference to your ears.
