First post, and why I joined...

Simply put, I love this place. The GB crew has provided so many great moments. I've laughed until I can't breathe, smiled until my face hurts, and found some real substance amidst the silliness. Special thanks to xpantherx (who I believe goes here by Turboman?) for his Youtube "best of" segments. It's how I found the website in the first place, and some of the Subscriber snippets convinced me that I was missing out on even more greatness. Quite frankly, I should have subscribed much sooner. Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and as my first post, I'll list some of the moments that had me in tears.

I don't understand why people make those threads, its pretty much the worst way to introduce yourself. "Hey guys I got banned at this other place for some dumb thing I did so now I'm here! Welcome me!"

This is cool though. Welcome!

I like those threads in a weird way. They come in here, tell their story, expect us to comfort them and agree with them, but then people here go "that was pretty much on you, dude." Seeing that reaction is somehow... satisfying. It's like some kind of karmic justice.

I'm sold on Newder, that's just too funny not to keep...

Those are definitely on my to-watch list. I'm just finishing up the Dark Souls half-ER (greatness, BTW). I also hear that Pathfinder and some of the recent Breaking Brad's are can't-miss stuff. So much quality content, so little time.

The Ghoul endurance run plot thread was one of the best parts of that thing. He also made appearances in other videos via Vinny trying to do impersonations of people and just sounding like his Ghoul voice (ex: his impression of "Ryan").

Ghoul better be in Persona 5.

P.S. anyone know the video in which Vinny does his famed Ryan impression?

That's exactly what I was expecting. Then I expected a couple of pages of comments bickering about whether or not that site sucks, whether or not OP was a dick for getting banned from there, and whether or not he's going to end up banned from here. Then I was expecting to lock the thread.

I'm happy I was proved wrong. I shouldn't jump to conclusions so easily, but I've seen that happen so many times before that it's hard not to assume it based on the thread title.

Anyways, welcome to the forums, notnert427. I should probably say something along the lines of "don't break the rules and stuff" along with a link to said rules (they're here, by the way). That seems like a thing a moderator should be saying to new users. But that would be kinda dorky, so I'm just going to talk about how I should be doing it in a failed attempt at being mildly humorous, which also ends up being ten times more dorky than the plain and simple way of conveying that information.

Now that's a first post! Way to go man, you made the right decision.
