Fuck EA and Tiger Woods 09

 How can a company be allowed to release the same game over and over again year after year.  After  playing the demo of tiger woods 09 I instantly knew that there was little (if any) difference from previous incarnations of the game.  EA should be brought in front of the appropriate authorites and shot in their big fat stinking rich greedy heads. I like golf games. I even like some elements of the tiger woods games. Why though are these games mediocre instead of awesome like they should be. Where's the course editor?  Golf games had course editing back in PGA Golf days.  Where's the great graphics instead of the graphics currently used? I know it's only a golf game and how real can a golf game look or even need to look? The answer is better!  More attention should be paid to finer detail e.g. making the gloves hanging out of golfers back pocket look real as opposed to painted on. There is to much emphasis on lighting effects and vibrant colours. 

Make one GREAT golf game and not a shite one every year. 

Try buying the complete version of the game before complaining.

The Wii version is supposed to be awesome. Maybe get a Wii if you want a good golf game?

You've been living under a rock, haven't you?  EA has always done this with their sports games... Madden, NBA Live, NHL, Tiger Woods, etc.  It's the case with most annual sports franchises... small, subtle changes.

Yes, I really don't care because it will be the best possible game on the wii version either way.

There is some new stuff in 09...of course, if you acknowledge that then you don't have as much to complain about. Besides those somewhat few things you mentioned, what could they do to make a golf game substantially different? Adding a glove in the pocket that flaps in the wind sounds pretty, but doesn't do a whole lot for me in terms of gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for bitching. But it sounds like you're reaching a little.

If I could add anything I would want something like more courses (yeah a course editor would be nice, but might be a little clumsy on a console).

It does awesome things for polish and immersion. They obviously didn't do too much to this sequel (or any other), they might as well have spent their time on SOMETHING.

Come on stop complaining what do expect them to do, its a successful series that has a high profit margin.

people buy them,  so they keep making them,  simple business.

If they relese a complaete game that means theres no room for improvement the next year.

Which means a financial disaster.

ea usually have a sheme in my view of to release a game with little improvements....then big improvements...then little improvements and so on. But its nothing new. In my opinion there all fun to play

I am an very avid PC player of  the Tiger Woods games and they didn't even bother to produce the PC product for 09!  Although the '08 game was good, there were many stupid glitches in it.  I was looking forward  to the '09 version and hope they would have them cleared up. After reading all of the above, I'm glad I didn't get to invest $40-$50 in a new game.
